What's new on Broadway? Reality TV star makes stage debut, 'The Lost Boys' coming soon

Tuesday, February 3, 2026
NEW YORK (WABC) -- It's time to head to the theater, because there's so much going on right now both on and off Broadway.

From a reality star's stage debut, to a new musical, and even a show that's changing theater as we know it, there's really something for everyone.

Starting on Broadway, the newest star, Whitney Leavitt, is stepping into the iconic role of Roxie Hart in "Chicago."

You probably recognize Leavitt from the hit reality show, "The Secret Lives of Mormon Wives."

You can see Leavitt in Chicago through March 15.

From the current longest running musical, "Chicago," on Broadway, to a brand new musical, entertainment reporter Joelle Garguilo got a sneak peak of "The Lost Boys."

It's based on the 1987 cult classic of the same name, following a divorced mom and her sons, and what happens when they move to a California town overrun by vampires.

Previews begin at the Palace Theater on March 27.

Joelle also had the chance to check out "An Ark," off Broadway at The Shed.

It's a new play that uses mixed reality to take a deep dive into the meaning of life, and in turn death.

You can see "An Ark" through March 1.
