As of Wednesday evening, JCP&L said about of its 11,500 customers remained without power, most in Sussex County.

The utility said hundreds of line workers will continue on service restoration overnight, and the remaining customers are expected to be restored by late Thursday night.
Many lined up at gas stations to fill up their generators, trying to make it a couple more days in the frigid cold.
Nearly 45,000 customers were without electricity in New Jersey at the height of the outages, with 25,000 of those in Sussex County.
The rain and ice that fell Sunday coated branches, and then the foot or more of snow that fell Monday brought down a lot of trees -- taking power lines with them.

"It's pretty bad out here," one resident said. "We got clobbered."
Warming centers have been set up, including at the Sparta police station.
Hundreds of crews from as far as West Virginia have arrived to lend a hand.
