Strollers are a big investment these days and, like a car, you want to keep it clean and looking like new.

Now parents have an option..kind of like a car wash. Only these are cleaning services for strollers and anything else children get dirty.

If you're a parent, you know the stroller is likely pretty dirty, and probably hasn't had a good cleaning in a long time ... or ever.

And that's where stroller cleaning services come in pretty handy.

"Dust and dirt gets caught in there, which makes our steam cleaner very beneficial," said grime fighter Eric Louis, who gets into those crevices, cleaning out, well, just about everything.

He works for Tot Squad, which uses honest products for all the cleanings. Tot Squad is also licensed to repair a variety of strollers as well, and with premium strollers costing $800 and up, a $40 dollar basic Tot Squad cleaning is an investment many parents will make, according to Tot Squad's founder.

Tot Squad charges $50 for pick-up and delivery combined.

"Not only can they extend the value of their stroller, but also so that item can be used by a community member who couldn't afford a new stroller themselves," said Jennifer Saxton.

Another option is Baby Bubbles, which is like a spa for strollers and other baby items. It opened on the Upper East Side a year ago.

"You pick up a lot of things on city streets, hair, guck, whatever you're rolling over," said Seth Mittman, who launched Baby Bubbles after noticing filthy strollers lined up at his child's pediatrician's office.

"We clean, sanitize and disinfect strollers, car seats, high chairs, play mats, any type of baby gear," he said.

He disassembles items for a thorough cleaning, the kind of cleaning you'd likely never do at home.

A basic cleaning starts at $35. He also sells a line of plant-based cleaning products, and even offers laundry service for baby clothes. Baby Bubbles doesn't charge for pick-up and delivery in their zone.
