Elderly woman killed in New Jersey house fire

MONTVALE, New Jersey (WABC) -- Officials say an elderly woman is dead after a fire tore through a home in New Jersey.

The fire broke out early Sunday afternoon on North Avenue around 1 p.m. in Montvale.

The Bergen County Sheriff's Office Crime Scene Unit is on the scene.
