Bobbi Kristina Brown, daughter of the late Whitney Houston, is "fighting for her life," according to a new statement from her family. The 21-year-old Brown was hospitalized after being found face down in a bathtub over the weekend.

"Bobbi Kristina is fighting for her life and is surrounded by immediate family," the Houston family said in a statement. "As her father already stated, we are asking you to honor our request for privacy during this difficult time. Thank you for your prayers, well wishes, and we greatly appreciate your continued support."

Brown was discovered by her husband and a friend in a home outside of Atlanta on Saturday morning. Unresponsive, police performed CPR until rescue personnel arrived.

Whitney Houston died three years ago on Feb. 11, 2012 after being found unresponsive in a tub at a Beverly Hills hotel.
