NEW YORK (WABC) -- Jackie Xerri, a student from Oceanside High School on Long Island, got a chance to review "The Amazing Spider-Man 2" with Sandy Kenyon. Here's what she had to say about the film.

In my opinion, the movie was amazing.

Length: Even though the movie's length was about two and a half hours long, it was probably the quickest two and a half hours of my life! I think the length was necessary to give the movie a good ending. It could have just ended at the funeral, but the extended ending gave the viewer hope.

Villains: I got a rush from the fantastic duo of Harry and Electro. I actually may have liked them more than Peter and Gwen. Their evilness bounced off of each other, and their vibe was exciting. The music chosen also went very well with all of the dark and violent parts of the movie.

Love: The relationship between Peter and Gwen seemed genuine and intense. I believe, in this case, that them being in a relationship in real life strengthened their relationship on screen. You could really feel Peter's pain at emotional moments, and you can see his love for her. It was definitely an emotional roller coaster, which truly intrigued me.

Action: The action was on point, and the effects were done well. For most parts, my heart was racing during the action scenes. After a while, though, I did find it to be overdone and at some points, I lost focus.

Story: I liked the use of multiple storylines within one. I liked that each character's struggle was individually focused on, because it gave me a chance to step into every character's shoes.

Visuals: The photography of the film was also done very nicely. There was a wide variety of interesting shots, and the special effects were impressive.

Overall I think "The Amazing Spider-Man 2" was really good. I'd give it 4 1/2 stars out of 5.
