NEW YORK (WABC) -- It doesn't matter if you're cheering on the Patriots or the Seahawks, one thing all sports fans will be celebrating is the good food that comes along with the Super Bowl.

The Hungry Fan, Daina Falk, joined us with some tips and recipes for a perfect Super Bowl party.

Here are two of the recipes:

BBQ Baked Beans (Side Dish)
Makes 6 side-dish sized servings

Ingredients

8 slices bacon, browned (but not burned) and roughly chopped

2 cloves garlic

cup onions, diced

1 red bell pepper, diced

2 cans navy beans, drained and rinsed

1 tablespoon yellow mustard

3 tablespoons Worcestershire sauce

cup Pom tomato sauce

cup maple syrup

3 tablespoons brown sugar

2 teaspoons onion powder

1 teaspoon black pepper

1 teaspoon hot sauce

cup apple cider vinegar

2 teaspoons soy sauce

Optional: a few sprinkles of smoke seasoning blend

Preparation

Preheat your oven to 375 degrees Fahrenheit.

In a large skillet, cook your bacon. Once browned, remove the bacon from the pan but not the bacon fat.

Saut your onions, garlic, and red peppers in the bacon fat over medium heat until the onions are translucent and soft (about 5 minutes).

Add into your skillet your beans and lower your heat. Add in your bacon, mustard, Worcestershire sauce, tomato sauce, maple syrup, brown sugar, onion powder, black pepper, hot sauce, vinegar and soy sauce. Bring to a boil and then reduce to low heat. Cover and cook for 5 minutes.

Transfer into a 9"x9" baking dish and bake for 50 minutes to 1 hour.*

You can also make this in a Wonderbag. If doing so, simmer for 15 minutes and then cook in your Wonderbag for 3 hours.
