SOUTH BRONX (WABC) -- A small house party quickly turned into a huge crime scene early Saturday morning in the South Bronx after two back-to-back shootings.
A 30-year-old man died at Bronx Lebanon Hospital after gunfire erupted inside the home on Clay Avenue. The hunt for the suspect continues, as the victim's family is overwhelmed with pain. According to police, a large fight broke out at the hospital with a female breaking a window of a police car, and another female arrested for assaulting an officer. Meanwhile, another shooting just a couple blocks away from the first shooting at 169th Street and Morris Ave. left several others injured.
Police have indicated that the two shooting are likely related, and that they have recovered five shell casings at the second scene, in addition to a knife that was discovered not far from the scene on Clay Avenue.
Police say they are searching for three men and two women who fled the scene.
