Police: Man assaults young girl, kisses another at Upper West Side Shake Shack

UPPER WEST SIDE, Manhattan (WABC) -- A search is underway for a man who tried to assault two young girls at Shake Shack on the Upper West Side.

Police say the suspect grabbed a 12-year-old girl by the wrists inside the Shake Shack on 366 Columbus Avenue on Monday. Investigators say he then walked up to a 13-year-old girl right outside, and then asked her name.

The suspect then allegedly hugged the teen, and kissed her on the cheek. The victim pulled away, and the suspect ran away on foot.
