Double shooting in East New York leaves man, woman injured

EAST NEW YORK, Brooklyn (WABC) -- A double shooting in Brooklyn left two people with minor injuries.

Around 2 p.m. Wednesday, a person driving a gold or tan Honda minivan stopped in front of 485 Hendrix St., according to the New York City Police Department.

The driver fired several shots from inside the vehicle toward the entrance of the building, hitting a 25-year-old woman in the leg and a 23-year-old man in the arm.

The vehicle was last seen fleeing south on Hendrix Street. Both victims were taken to Brookdale Hospital with non-life threatening injuries.
