Aggressive squirrel in Propsect Park likely dead, parks department says
Lori Stokes has more on the likely fate of an aggressive squirrel in Prospect Park.

PROSPECT PARK, Brooklyn (WABC) -- A violent squirrel that has attacked people at a park in Brooklyn is likely dead by now if it had rabies, according to the NYC Department of Parks and Recreation.

7-year-old Maria Guerro was walking through Prospect Park with her parents when a squirrel jumped on her.

A man was also bitten by a squirrel in the park while feeding it. It is not clear if it is the same animal that attacked both people.

Parks officials say rangers went on four separate patrols Monday, and found no squirrels behaving badly.
