Search for suspects in hotel theft
Police are searching for the women suspected of stealing from a man in Midtown.

MIDTOWN, Manhattan (WABC) -- Police have released video in their search for two women suspected of stealing from a man who invited them into his Midtown hotel room.

The incident happened May 9 inside of the Michelangelo Hotel at 152 West 51st Street.

According to the NYPD, the 49-year-old man was accompanied by a woman walking into the hotel where the victim was staying.

A short time later they were joined by another woman.

After some time elapsed, both women were observed on the surveillance video leaving the hotel.

Later that morning the victim realized that his Rolex watch and credit cards were missing.

Police say the credit cards were used to make purchases at several locations.

The NYPD issued the following descriptions:

Individual #1: female black with long hair, approximately 5'.5" 130 to 140lbs. and was wearing a leather jacket and blue jeans.

Individual #2; female black, approximately 5'.7", 140 to 150 lbs. and was wearing a black tank top , black jacket, and blue jeans.
