NEW YORK (WABC) --Police are looking for a robber who struck twice in Central Park this week.
Just after midnight on Monday, the suspect allegedly placed a 47-year-old man in a chokehold near 74th Street and East Drive. The suspect threw the victim to the ground and stole his backpack, which contained cash, a debit card and two credit cards.
On Wednesday around the same time in the same area, police say the suspect started talking to another 47-year-old man, then put him in a chokehold, threw him to the ground and took his bag. The bag had $140 in cash and a debit card inside.
Police have released a sketch of the man they are looking for. He is described as about 6-foot-5, wearing a floppy hat pulled down over his forehead.
