FDNY rescues teens from ice in Queens

DOUGLASTON (WABC) -- Two teenagers are recovering after being rescued from ice in Queens.

Several people called 911 to report the two teenagers walking on a frozen section of Little Neck Bay in Douglaston on Saturday.

The FDNY arrived, and the teens were able to crawl across the extended ladder to safety.

One was treated at a local hospital for exposure to the freezing water.

A bystander who recorded the rescue says help arrived just in time.
