Homeless man brutally beaten in front of a church
Darla Miles reports from the Bronx where a homeless man was brutally beaten at a church.

UNIVERSITY HEIGHTS (WABC) -- Police have released new video of a brutal attack on a homeless man outside a church in the Bronx.

Security cameras recorded three men approaching the 41-year-old man, who was sleeping in the doorway of St. Nicholas of Tolentine Church on West Fordham Road and Univesity Avenue in University Heights just after 10 p.m. last Thursday.

After talking to the victim and throwing his property, two of the men kicked him in the head.

The, one suspect returned and kicked him again.

The suspects fled the scene in an unknown direction.

The victim was transported to St. Barnabas Hospital where he is listed in critical condition.
