ASBURY PARK, New Jersey (WABC) -- There were frightening moments for the leader of an LGBT rights group in New Jersey, when the organization's office was vandalized while he was inside.

Two people reportedly smashed the glass door of the Garden State Equality office in Asbury Park on Saturday.

Christian Fuscarino, the Executive Director was inside at the time planning an event. He posted a picture on Facebook of the damage.

"I think every day when you work at an LGBT organization, you prepare for incidents like this, and so as soon as I realized what happened, I said 'we need to figure out who did this and then move forward, and then speak out against this hate and violence,'" Fuscarino said.

No one was injured in the incident, and so far, police have made no arrests.
