Man, 54, killed by early morning fire in his Staten Island home

STATEN ISLAND (WABC) -- An early morning fire killed a 54-year old man in his Staten Island home.

Police say his body was discovered after firefighters put out the fire at around 2:30 a.m. Monday at the home on Rosebank Place.

The victim was pronounced dead at Staten Island University North Hospital.

There were no other injuries.

The cause of the fire is under investigation.
