Suspect arrested in East Village shooting death

EAST VILLAGE, Manhattan (WABC) -- Police have arrested a suspect in connection with the fatal shooting of a man in the East Village.

Theodore Holloway, 23, of Manhattan, has been charged with second degree murder in the death of Elliot Caldwell, 23.

Caldwell was found shot to death on East 12th Street just before 11 p.m. April 14.

He lived nearby. Caldwell was taken to Bellevue Hospital with a gunshot wound to the back. He was pronounced dead at the hospital.

Holloway was arrested and charged April 15.
