Man shot inside Brooklyn Laundromat

EAST WILLIAMSBURG (WABC) -- Police are searching for the gunman who shot a man inside a Brooklyn Laundromat late Saturday.

Investigators say the 35-year-old victim was shot in the stomach inside the business on Jackson Street and Kingsland Avenue in East Williamsburg just before midnight.

The suspect fled the scene, and the victim was rushed to Elmhurst Hospital with a gunshot wound to the abdomen.

He is expected to survive.

The motive behind the shooting is unknown, and the investigation is ongoing.
