Man wanted for two failed bank robberies

Man attempts to rob two banks in Brooklyn

BROOKLYN, NY (WABC) -- Police are releasing surveillance photos of a man accused of trying to rob two banks in Brooklyn.

On Tuesday, May 05, 2015 the suspect entered a Citibank located at 1398 Fulton Street and passed a note to the teller announcing a robbery.

The teller refused to give him any money and the suspect fled.

Several hours later the same suspect entered Popular Bank, located at 15 Graham Street, and again passed a note to the teller demanding cash.

That teller refused as well and the suspect ran off. There were no injuries in either incident

The suspect is described as a black male in his 30's, approximately 5'6" tall with a medium build.

He was last seen wearing black jeans, black sneakers and a Yankees baseball cap .
