NEW YORK (WABC) -- A Midtown Manhattan cell phone store was robbed for the third time in three months Friday.

Two women broke into BC Wireless, smashed the display cases and got away with an unknown amount of electronics.

The store installed bulletproof glass over the display cases after the robbery in July, so the three people working behind the counter were protected. None of them was injured.

The owner of the store said police know who's behind the robberies and wants them to make an arrest. The New York City Police Department said this is an ongoing investigation.

Police previously released a surveillance image (attached) of a suspect wanted in an attempted robbery at the store on May 14 and another robbery there July 30. In the July incident, the suspects got away with $48,000 in goods.
