Massive fire tears through 3 homes in Jersey shore town

WILDWOOD CREST, New Jersey -- Fire crews spent Sunday on the scene of a massive house blaze in Wildwood Crest that sent thick black smoke billowing into the sky above the Jersey shore town

It started before 3 p.m. along Park Boulevard and West Primrose Road near Sunset Lake.

Three homes were involved in the blaze that quickly went to three alarms.

Two of the homes are a total loss. The third home sustained heavy fire, smoke and water damage.

Black smoke could be seen from miles away.

Thankfully, no injuries were reported. So far, there is no word on what sparked the fire.
