Service members in Afghanistan held a special ceremony Wednesday to pay their respects to the six airmen who died in Afghanistan earlier in the week, including two from New York.

The ceremony was held at Bagram Air Field and included service members from several units.

The six airmen were killed in a suicide bomb attack near Bagram on Monday.

Two of those killed, Tech Sgt. Joseph Lemm and Staff Sgt. Louis Bonacasa, were both from New York.
