Long Island boy lured by 2 men in car, police say

The incident occurred in Freeport on Long Island.

FREEPORT, Long Island (WABC) -- Police are looking for two suspects they say attempted to lure a boy on Long Island.

Nassau County police say a 10-year-old was walking on North Brookside Avenue at Maryland Avenue in Freeport Thursday afternoon when two men in a white four-door sedan stopped in front of him.

The men told him to get into the car, possibly a Honda Accord, police said. But the victim ran away, and police were notified.

The subjects drove north on Brookside Avenue.

No injuries were reported.

The subjects are described as black men in their 20s to 30s with high-top hair. The passenger was wearing sunglasses.
