Arrest made in subway slashing
Police have made an arrest in a slashing at a Midtown subway station.

MIDTOWN, Manhattan (WABC) -- Police have made an arrest in a slashing at a Midtown Manhattan subway station.

29-year-old Albert Vega of Brooklyn is charged with assault and criminal possession of a weapon.

Police say he slashed another man in the face on the platform of the 8th Avenue and 34th Street station after they got into a dispute early Wednesday morning.

The 35-year-old victim was taken to Bellevue Hospital for treatment.
