HOUSTON -- Thieves were after hair weaves during a smash-and-grab at a business in southwest Houston overnight.

Not only did the store lose merchandise, its owner has some major repairs to make, too.

It happened at the Beauty Sensations store off Beechnut near Beltway 8. Investigators say 4 to 6 people were involved and it all happened in under two minutes.

Hair weaves are expensive. Some brands can cost as much as $200 per package. They can be sold on the black market for as little as $25.
