Postal Sevice dubs Tuesday 'National Returns Day'

NEW YORK, NY (WABC) -- The holidays may be over but business hasn't slowed down at shipping companies.

The postal service has dubbed Tuesday, January 6th as 'National Returns Day.'

UPS expects to ship 800,000 packages as people return unwanted gifts to retailers.

With a record number of people shopping online during the holidays more and more gifts are being shipped back each year.

UPS expects to carry about 4million packages by the end of the week.
