Woman struck by falling air conditioner on Upper East Side

UPPER EAST SIDE (WABC) -- A woman is recovering after being struck by a falling air conditioner Sunday night on the Upper East Side.

The accident happened at about 7:45 p.m. at the intersection of East 101st Street and Lexington Avenue.

The woman sustained leg and arm pain. She was taken to New York Presbyterian Hospital and is in stable condition.
