• 1968 - Receives Bachelor's in Economics from the University of Pennsylvania.
• 1971 - Given control over his father's real estate company.
• 1983 - Opens Trump Tower in midtown Manhattan.
• 1987 - Publishes "Trump: The Art of The Deal."
• 2004 - The Apprentice premieres on television.
• 2009 - Changes his party registration from Democrat to Republican.
• 2015 - Announces his intent to run for president.
• July 19, 2016 - Officially nominated by the Republican Party.
• Nov. 8, 2016 - Elected president of the United States.
