Federal grand jury hearing case on Senator Menendez

NEW JERSEY (WABC) -- A federal grand jury is now hearing testimony in an on-going investigation with New Jersey U.S. Senator Robert Menendez.

A grand jury is looking into gifts Menendez received from his friend, an eye doctor in Florida, and actions the senator took on the doctors behalf.

The information came to light after a U.S. court of appeals ruling was made public when it was supposed to be sealed.
