VIDEO: Dolphin jumps onto board of surfer in Australia

AUSTRALIA -- A young surfer in Australia got a big surprise when a dolphin jumped onto his board.

Junior surfing champion Jed Gradisen was chasing waves in early September off the west coast of Australia when he collided with the energetic dolphin.

Jed's father captured the moment on camera when the dolphin jumped through an arcing wave and landed directly on Jed's board.

"I think it was just an accident that the dolphin jumped on me," Jed said. "It was just as amazed as I was."

Jed wasn't seriously hurt and said the incident wouldn't keep him out of the water.
