Bills 'optimistic' for Browns game

The Buffalo Bills, forced to play a neutral-site game in Week 12 because of a severe snowstorm, are "highly optimistic" that they will be able to host Sunday's home game against theCleveland Browns,one team official told ESPN.

Workers are making "tremendous progress" clearing the snow out of Ralph Wilson Stadium, and the expectation now is to be able to play Sunday's game there, the official said.

A lake-effect storm dumped more than 5 feet of snow on the Buffalo region last week.

The Bills will play the New York Jetson Monday night at Ford Field. The Detroit Lions have been gracious to the Bills during their visit to Detroit this weekend, as Lions officials set up a makeshift locker room in their training facility, giving each Bills player his own locker.

Detroit also flew in extra personnel to help the Bills' medical, equipment and video staffs.

This is the second time in four years that Ford Field has hosted a neutral-site game. In 2010, a game between the Minnesota Vikings and New York Giants was moved to Detroit because the Metrodome roof collapsed.
