Brandon Thomas homer shatters his own windshield

Brandon Thomas has slugged 11 home runs for the Gateway Grizzlies this season, but his latest one was particularly memorable:

The Grizzlies, by the way, are based in Sauget, Illinois -- a suburb of St. Louis -- and play in the independent Frontier League.

Thomas, 25, was drafted by the New York Yankees in the eighth round of the 2013 draft out of Georgia Tech. This is his first season with the Grizzlies.
