Washington Capitals forward Eric Fehr will miss the next two games with an upper-body injury, according to coach Barry Trotz.
Trotz revealed the news Monday afternoon after the Capitals' practice session at Nassau Coliseum.
Fehr was forced from the Capitals' 2-1 overtime loss after suffering the injury on a hit along the boards in the first period.
The injury will keep him out of Game 4 at Nassau Coliseum on Tuesday and Game 5 on Thursday at Verizon Center in Washington, D.C. The Islanders lead the series 2-1.
