Chad Johnson, Terrell Owens tweet at Giants in wake of Odell Beckham Jr. injury

When Odell Beckham Jr. went down with an ankle injury, New York Giants fans' hearts stopped. But for some former players, this was an opportunity.

Just ask Chad Johnson and Terrell Owens.

This is hardly shocking, considering Johnson is well-known for his Twitter antics, while T.O. has pulled this stunt before on Twitter, hinting at a job offer.

The thing is, Johnson hasn't played since 2011. And Owens? He is 43 and last played in an NFL game in 2010.

So let's be real; this would be more than a long shot for these guys. Still, Owens doesn't think so.

He claims he can still run a 4.4-second 40-yard dash and said "it's a joke" he's not on a team roster.

Well, dream big, I guess.
