Devils send Taylor Hall back to New Jersey for further evaluation

New Jersey Devils winger Taylor Hall missed Tuesday night's game at Dallas with a lower-body injury.

After the game, Devils coach John Hynes said Hall had flown back to New Jersey and would undergo further evaluation. Hynes did not specify the injury.

Hall, 25, has five goals and seven assists this season.

The former No. 1 overall draft pick was acquired in an offseason trade with theEdmonton Oilers.
