Islanders Pucks and Paws calendar shoot is too adorable for words

Even if you're not a New York Islanders fan we can all agree on this -- puppies.

The Isles got together for a photo shoot that the team tweeted as "everyone's favorite day," and after seeing these photos, we think you'll understand why.

Puppies on puppies on puppies. There's something so gratifying about a puppy giving you a big smooch, and even watching the Islanders get showered in slobbery kisses seems to have the same effect.

The slobbery kisses, wagging tails and adorable sleeping puppy photos all come for a good cause as the team puts together The 2018 Isles Pucks & Paws calendar to benefit America's VetDogs.

America's VetDogs is a nonprofit organization that provides service dogs to help veterans in need. The Isles jump back into the regular season starting Oct. 6 when they face off with the Columbus Blue Jackets on the road.
