GLENDALE, Ariz. -- Seattle Seahawks strong safety Kam Chancellor came on the field for pregame warm-ups Sunday wearing a small brace on his left knee, under his sock.
Chancellor injured his knee on Friday when he fell near the end of practice. His knee was wrapped and he walked off without any problems. Chancellor also participated in Saturday's walk-through practice without any noticeable limp.
He looked fine in the warm-up drills Sunday before Super Bowl XLIX, showing no signs of the knee or the brace affecting him.
Chancellor, who is regarded as one of the most physical tacklers in the NFL, is expected to be involved in one of the key matchups of the day against New England Patriots All-Pro tight end Rob Gronkowski.
Chancellor is one of three members of the Seattle secondary entering the game nursing an injury. Free safety Earl Thomas suffered a separated shoulder in the NFC Championship Game two weeks ago. Cornerback Richard Sherman suffered a hyperextended left elbow in that game.
Sherman and Thomas practiced full speed all week in Arizona. Sherman was not wearing a brace on his elbow in warm-ups, only a long blue sleeve.
