Kevin Mawae sends "thank you" video to New York Jets fans, organization for Ring of Honor announcement

Former New York Jets center (1998-2005) Kevin Mawae will be inducted into the Jets' Ring of Honor at halftime during the Oct. 1 game vs. the Jacksonville Jaguars. Mawae was selected to six consecutive Pro Bowls during his time with Gang Green.

The 46-year-old posted a video on Twitter thanking the Jets organization and fans.

Mawae will join NFL Hall of Famers Joe Namath and Curtis Martin and wideout Wayne Chrebet, among others, in the Jets' Ring of Honor.
