Knicks, coach contact Twitter to understand unintended 'likes'

The New York Knicks say interim coach Kurt Rambis did not "like" a pornographic tweet over the weekend and that the club is working with Twitter to determine how the tweet was liked by the coach's account.

The Knicks say they discovered Sunday that there were two tweets on Rambis' account that the coach hadn't taken the action of liking. One was the pornographic tweet, which was first reported by GQ, and the second was from a money-lending site.

"It's unfortunate that it happened, I've dealt with it and I've moved on," Rambis said before Monday's game against the Toronto Raptors.

The team said it is in touch with Twitter to try to rectify the situation and determine how the tweet was liked by Rambis' account, which last published a tweet Jan. 18 following the death of Eagles guitarist Glenn Frey.

Rambis took over as Knicks coach for Derek Fisher, who was fired Feb. 8. The Knicks (24-33) are 1-2 under Rambis and host the Toronto Raptors on Monday night.
