New York Knicks big man Kristaps Porzingismissed his second straight game due to a sore left Achilles.

Knicks coach Jeff Hornacek said that team doctors believe Porzingis' injury is not significant and that the club is just being cautious.

"Just a lot of tenderness on the Achilles," Hornacek said shortly before tipoff of the Knicks game against the Magic on Tuesday. Orlando went on to defeat New York, 115-103.

"We're hoping that in another couple of days it will go away. He's had it in the past a little bit and it usually goes away pretty quickly. Maybe with another day or two it will be gone."

Carmelo Anthonyplayed against Orlando, scoring 19 points in 35 minutes of action, after sitting out of the second half of Saturday's loss to the Houston Rockets due to knee soreness. Anthony is still feeling some discomfort in his knee but decided to suit up for a Knicks club that has now lost five in a row.

Starting shooting guard Courtney Leereturned after a three-game absence due to wrist soreness, and Kyle O'Quinnplayed after missing Saturday's game with flu-like symptoms.

Porzingis' status for Wednesday's game against the Milwaukee Bucks is unclear at the moment.

In 33 games, the second-year forward/center has averaged 20.1 points and 7.9 rebounds in 34.8 minutes per game.
