NEW YORK -- The Dallas Wings have traded center Amanda Zahui B to the Liberty in exchange for New York's first-round pick in next year's draft.
In the deal announced Wednesday, the Liberty also will get Dallas' second-round draft pick in 2017.
Zahui B averaged 3.4 points and 2.4 rebounds in 31 games as a rookie last season for the Wings. The 6-foot-5 center was the second overall pick in the 2015 draft after being an Associated Press All-American at Minnesota, where she averaged 16.9 points and 12.2 rebounds her final season.
Liberty coach Bill Laimbeer says the addition of Zahui B addresses the need for frontcourt help this season.
