Brooklyn Nets owner Mikhail Prokhorov endorsed oft-criticized general manager Billy Kingon Tuesday in an SB Nation video answering fan questions.

"I am very glad to be working with Billy, and he has managed to pull off a lot of unexpected deals in the line with the guidelines ownership has given him," he said. "I think we had an excellent offseason this year, and I do believe it will bring success this season."

King is entering the final year of his contract.

Win-now trades for the likes of Deron Williams, Gerald Wallace, Kevin Garnett and Paul Pierce in the King-Prokhorov era have cost the Nets numerous future first-round draft picks. Since moving to Brooklyn in 2012, the Nets have spent a combined $123 million in luxury tax money but have won just one playoff series.

ESPN site Five Thirty Eight projects the Nets to win just 25 games in 2015-16.
