The Brooklyn Nets have signed point guard Donald Sloan, giving the team four point guards under contract for next season.

Sloan joins Jarrett Jack, Shane Larkin and Ryan Boatright on the roster. The Nets announced Sloan's addition on Monday. He received a partially guaranteed veteran's minimum deal, a source told ESPN.com.

Jack is expected to be the starter, while the Nets also think very highly of Larkin. As a result, Sloan presumably will be competing with Boatright, an undrafted rookie on a partially guaranteed deal, for the third point guard spot.

Sloan, 27, started 21 games in 2014-15 for the Indiana Pacers. For the season, he averaged 7.4 points, 3.6 assists and shot 40.8 percent from the field.

The Nets also officially waived forward Earl Clark as expected.
