New Jersey teen becomes youngest to finish Triple Crown of open-water swimming

A 16-year-old girl from New Jersey has set a world record after finishing her swim across the English Channel.

Charlotte Samuels is the youngest to complete the Triple Crown of open-water swimming.

In June, Samuels made the 28.5-mile swim across the Manhattan Island Marathon Swim in nine hours and 54 minutes. In August, she completed the 20.2-mile swim across the Catalina Island Channel.
