Noah Syndergaard launches #banthewave initiative

Take note, New York Mets fans: Noah Syndergaard is NOT a fan of the wave.

Syndergaard took his disdain for the crowd favorite a step further in an infomercial for SNY designed to share helpful tips for fans at Citi Field.

"The wave isn't cool anymore," the 24-year-old said.

Syndergaard will take the mound at home against the Washington Nationals on Friday night, and it will be interesting to see if any fan dares to get the wave going while he's pitching.

We, for one, would not want to evoke the wrath of Thor.
