Derek Jeter's No. 2 will be retired at Yankee Stadium on Sunday and there's a case for it being the biggest retirement of a uniform number in history. It certainly is from a business standpoint, where tickets are selling like crazy -- yes, even on Mother's Day -- and the merchandising of the moment has reached unprecedented levels.

Coverage of Jeter's jersey retirement ceremony begins Sunday at 6:30 p.m. ET on ESPN.
