The New York Rangers were without goaltender Henrik Lundqvist and forward Rick Nash as they lost 4-3 to the Carolina Hurricanes on Thursday.

Lundqvist (lower body injury) and Nash (upper body) are both listed as day-to-day.

Both players skated Tuesday in a 5-2 win over the Florida Panthers. Lundqvist made 43 saves, while Nash tallied an assist.

Antti Raanta got the start in goal Thursday for the Rangers, who called up netminder Brandon Halverson from the ECHL.
