The Brooklyn Nets have reached an agreement with Utah Jazz free-agent forward Trevor Booker, sources confirmed.

The deal will be worth two years for $18 million. The agreement was earlier reported by the Salt Lake Tribune.

Booker is the third free-agent deal for Brooklyn GM Sean Marks' rebuilding plan, joining point guard Jeremy Lin (three years, $36 million) and reserve center Justin Hamilton (two years, $6 million).

A 6-foot-8 power forward, Booker played the past two seasons in Utah and was the club's lone unrestricted free agent. Booker earned $4.77 million last season, averaging 5.9 points and 5.7 rebounds in just under 21 minutes per game.

He gained a reputation in two seasons with the Jazz for his leadership, toughness and energy off the bench, but his future in Utah became uncertain in part due to the emergence of rookie forward Trey Lyles, who averaged 6.0 points and 3.7 rebounds in 17 minutes per game.
