Thunder to be without Paul George vs. Nets in Mexico City, calf bruise

Paul George will miss his first game as a member of the Oklahoma City Thunder when they face the Brooklyn Nets in Mexico City on Thursday night.

George is dealing with a right calf bruise.

As part of the Thunder's new core trio along with Russell Westbrook and Carmelo Anthony, George is averaging 20.7 points and 5.8 rebounds per game this season for Oklahoma City (11-12).

Small forward Jerami Grant also will not play Thursday due to a left hip bruise.
